...this lovely weather, drawing details in the boarders, concentrating on light, dark and shapes.
An interesting programme last night on Sky Arts 'Painting the Modern Garden'. About an exhibition at the RA in, I think, 2016. The most interesting image shown, for me, was not the predictable Monet, but a Kandinsky painting (who'd have thought it, Kandinsky!) which concentrated on the shapes and blocks of colour, NOT the textural detail. Also Emil Nolde appealed.
